DMCA Policy

We respect copyright and act on valid infringement notices quickly. Here is how to file one, and how to respond if your content was removed in error.

Our position

Smart SEO Toolz publishes original tools and written guides. If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or represent, tell us and we will investigate. Valid notices are actioned within two working days.

An important note about our tools

Most tools on this site process files entirely inside your browser. We do not host, store or transmit the files people process — there is no copy on our servers to remove. If your concern is about a file someone processed using a tool here, we have nothing to take down, because that file never reached us. See the privacy policy for how this works.

Filing a takedown notice

Send your notice to gemprogrammersgp@gmail.com with “DMCA Notice” in the subject line. To be actionable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), it must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorised agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL on this site where the material appears, specific enough for us to locate it.
  4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your notice, usually within 48 hours.
  2. We review the claim and remove or disable the material if the notice is valid.
  3. We notify the contributor who supplied the material and pass on your notice.
  4. They may file a counter-notice.

Filing a counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address containing your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, and your contact details together with consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

Contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material lose the ability to publish on this site.

False claims

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability for damages under section 512(f). Please be sure before you file.
