Privacy Policy

The principle

Smart SEO Toolz is built so that we hold as little of your data as technically possible. Around 85% of our tools run entirely client-side using standard browser APIs. For those tools, the text you paste and the files you select are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to us. There is no copy on our servers because no copy is ever sent.

You can verify this yourself. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any client-side tool. You will not see an upload request.

What we do collect

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This records the page URL, referrer, approximate country, and general device and browser type. It does not record your name, email address, or the content you put into any tool.

Server-side tool queries

A minority of tools — DNS lookups, WHOIS records, SSL checks, HTTP header inspection and similar — must contact the public internet to work. For those, the domain or URL you enter is sent to our server, which forwards the query to the relevant public data source and returns the result. We do not retain these queries or associate them with you.

Never enter a private, internal or credential-bearing URL into any online checker, including ours. Each tool that behaves this way says so plainly on its own page.

Messages you send us

If you email us or contact us on WhatsApp, we keep that correspondence so we can reply and follow up. We do not add you to a mailing list.

What we never collect

• The contents of files you process with client-side tools.
• Text you paste into a client-side tool.
• Passwords generated by our password generator — they are created in your browser and never transmitted.
• Payment details. There is nothing to pay for.
• Account credentials. There are no accounts.

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage to remember your theme preference (light or dark). Some tools store settings or progress locally so they persist between visits — that data stays in your browser and is never sent to us. Clearing your site data removes it.

Advertising and analytics providers may set their own cookies. You can block these with your browser settings or an extension without affecting how the tools work.

Advertising

The site is funded by advertising rather than by charging you or selling your data. Ad networks may use cookies to serve relevant advertising. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your Google Ads settings or your browser.

Third-party services

Server-side tools query public data sources such as DNS resolvers, RDAP registries and public IP databases. When you use one, your query reaches that provider. Each of those providers has its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Because we hold almost no personal data, there is usually nothing to export or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, write to gemprogrammersgp@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
